Patriots & Peacemakers: Arab Americans in Service to Our Country
Ambassador Marcelle M. Wahba served as the U.S. Embassy spokesperson in Cairo and was the first female American ambassador to a Gulf state. She also currently serves on the Bilateral Chamber's Board of Advisors.
Congratulations to The Honorable Ambassador Marcelle M. Wahba for the distinguished recognition of being featured in the upcoming Patriots & Peacemakers: Arab Americans in Service to Our Country exhibition. The traveling exhibit will be held at the University of Houston from March 11, 2013 - April 5, 2013 and features Arab Americans in service to our country.
Many Arab Americans have served in diplomatic positions in countries around the globe since World War II and in greater numbers over the last three decades.

In Memoriam: The Honorable Alfred J. Boulos,

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of The Honorable Council to the Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Alfred Boulos.
T.H. Alfred Boulos had a long and distinguished career at ConocoPhillips and was a longtime supporter of the Bilateral Chamber.
He was beloved as a compassionate member of the international business community and will be deeply missed.
Alfred J. Boulos passed away January 31, 2013 in Houston, Texas.
T.H. Boulos was an Honorary Consul General for Tunisia.
