Question of the Month October 2014 - Results
BSCC members were invited to consider in which areas they believe to be most exposed to cyber crime. Of those replying, 50% see the highest risk in entering new markets. They feel that different regulations on cyber security will impact the effectiveness of counter-cyber measures. 30% fear cyber crime when launching a new product, especially regarding IP theft and brand damage. One respondent commented that it can be very hard to recognise a sophisticated cyber intrusion and that cyber security needs to be taken very seriously at corporate level.

Tradition has always played a vital role for Julius Baer. Founded in 1890, the bank is deeply rooted in traditional values which have shaped our business over the last 125 years. DID YOU KNOW that a third of the Swiss in the UK live in London and a third of the Brits in Switzerland live in Zurich?
Almost 14’000 of 43’000 British citizens in Switzerland live in the Zurich area, whereas Vaud (9’500) and Geneva (7’500) take the second and third rank. In the UK, 10’500 out of 32’500 Swiss live in the greater London area and 9’000 live in the country’s South East. The geographical concentration of the two expat communities is quite remarkable!
