- Efteling Theme Park Resort is Europe’s third largest theme park, open 365 days a year and located only 90 minutes from Amsterdam.

Efteling is a the ideal location for groups - offering an impressive selection of themed attractions from a Fairytale Forest to thrilling roller-coasters plus our amazing Raveleijn Show with its stunt riders and five headed dragon breathing fire and water, all set in an amazing natural environment. There are great places to eat including the Polles Keuken, which just entered the Guinness Book of Records for the highest pancake stack!

Efteling is home to the world’s third largest water show, Aquanura, set to music, fire and lights….the end to a wonderful day. However, one day is never enough, so why not stay overnight at the Efteling themed hotel or the Bosrijk Village, where we have brand new group accommodation for between 12-24 guests.

From mid-November until end of January, Efteling is transformed into ‘Winter Efteling’ with thousands of twinkling lights, crackling bonfires, hot chocolate and hot toddy stalls and winter attractions including an ice skating rink, cross country skiing and a snow slide!

This year we have something really exciting coming up, our very first Travel Thinkathon which we are organising on 18th November, hosted in the Mobile World Centre right in the heart of Barcelona. The idea behind the Travel Thinkathon is to get groups of five to work together on putting forward ideas and working on concrete concepts that can be implemented by the industry in 2016.

To make sure the event does not just stop at ideas, we are bringing in industry leaders to support them with their expertise and services. The Thinkathon and collaboratively working together will get the awareness, reach and visbility the industry deserves which will also encourage attendees to continue working on this and putting concepts into practice throughout 2016.

To find out more information about the Thinkathon, click here. As an ETOA member, we are pleased to offer you a 20% discount on the standard ticket, bringing the price down to €160. You simply need to enter the promo code ETOA2015 when completing the registration to the Thinkathon.

Have City Taxes Gone Too Far?
In light of the recent proposals in Rome for the Jubilee and the general trend of taxing tourists in more and more destinations, ETOA will be tackling this question straight on in a special one hour seminar at this year's WTM. The session includes a presentation of the latest findings, a panel discussion and Q&A from the audience. The event is free for all WTM attendees. Come and be part of the conversation between 10.30-11.30am on Wednesday 4th November in the South Gallery, rooms 19 & 20.
