Newletter Dec 2015 Paris new
#PARISWELOVEYOU

The French Tourist authorities, including Atout France, Visit Paris Region and the Paris Tourist Office, have launched a campaign to support inbound tourism to the capital.

We are working with them to share the campaign, and encourage the industry to use #PARISWELOVEYOU. The campaign encourages everyone to use the hashtag with comments, stories and pictures about their positive experiences in Paris. Please use the logos and assets available at the toolkit here on your website, in your marketing materials and newsletters.

Please link your own Marketing and PR initiatives to the #ParisWeLoveYou campaign, in whatever way suits your business. The idea is that the images/ visuals can be adapted to suit different companies, so please feel free to change the files to fit your company. Please encourage your customers to do the same as we all work hard to support Paris.

ETOA seminas & conferences 2016

2016 will see a full conference and seminar programme for ETOA with among highlights a look at the consumer booking revolution at this year’s eTravel Lab during ITB, the results of our residents’ survey in Italy and a conference at this year’s City Fair looking at gastronomy. Reforms to the Package Travel Directive remain high on the agenda and we will be taking an active role with partners in improving the status of coach travel. There will also be the latest in our Origin Market series and continued scrutiny of the visa process where much has improved but much is still to be done.

ETOA Research
While a large proportion of visitor growth to Europe has been in the direction of the major country destinations, the last decade has seen the rapid growth of several smaller emergent tourism economies around the Balkans, Baltic States and central Europe. It reflects both the commitment being made by national governments to tourism as a generator of economic wealth and jobs, as well as the investment in developing tourism infrastructure.
