	GOOD NEWS UPDATE!
	Self Service Enrollment Offered to Members

	SELF SERVICE MEMBER ENROLLMENT In response to feedback from the Broker community, CareFirst has agreed not to automatically turn on employee access to the Hub Portal. Instead, each employer or broker may turn on the employee access if they choose to do so!

	GBS PROCESSING OF HUB ENROLLMENT We are also pleased to report that CareFirst has agreed to notify GBS of any employee transactions that are submitted through the HUB Portal. Therefore, if you have chosen GBS to process HUB enrollment for the employer, and they are permitting employee access, we are now able to approve employee transactions on behalf of the employer. Once approved, the enrollment will be processed by CareFirst. This will enable GBS to perform all HUB enrollment services for the employer. Very Good News!
