IMG_1661 Social Work's Dr. Lemieux awarded $854K grant to address substance use issues in Louisiana

Dr. Catherine Lemieux, LSU Social Work's Margaret Champagne Womack Professor in Addictive Disorders, was awarded a $854,156 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to develop and implement a training program that teaches skills necessary to prevent substance abuse. 

Cypress Hall Ribbon-Cutting

Cypress Hall opened its doors on move-in day, and the ribbon has now been officially cut! This residence hall features three four-story towers housing 330 student beds. 

Happy 100th birthday!

The University Laboratory School celebrated its centennial with a birthday celebration. The celebration featured local and state dignitaries. The commemorative painting by renowned local artist Jack Jaubert was revealed.
