| Greetings MPI New England! | | | | It was so wonderful to be together again and seeing all who attended our signature Educational Institute (EI) event last month at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel. We missed those of you that were not able to join us! As your President-elect, I’d like to give a special thank you to Johnice, Ana, and the incredible EI committee for all of their hard work in planning such a magnificent event. The speakers, partner pavilion exhibitors, after dark party, event sponsors, and of course the Sea Crest Beach Hotel were fantastic. We are lucky to have such support for our chapter and participation from each and everyone of them! I am looking forward to seeing what 2023 next year brings for our EI23 event! | | | | Big MPI regional news! The MPI Northeast Affiliate Member Program is now available for you to take advantage of! All MPI chapters in the northeast joined forces to help members further connections at other MPI chapters! Affiliate memberships allow a current MPI member to join another chapter for a nominal fee and be noted as “member” of that chapter on the local level. Affiliate memberships are awesome for any MPI members based in New England with work or sales in a different region. - The Cobblestone Donor Wall will now officially close on January 31st! Any member that completes the survey or who purchases a cobble stone will be entered to win 2 tickets to Hamilton (show is Saturday, 3/11 @ 8pm) at the Opera House in Boston with parking pass and a gift certificate to Teatro! The winner will be announced on our social media channels in February, stay tuned.

The Special Projects Committee has the enviable task of getting to plan great networking events such as the Holiday Party, a March event, the Annual Reception, Awards and Board Induction, and our Summer Outing.
| 2. Where and when is the holiday party this year? What can members expect this year vs. other years? The Holiday Party this year will be at the historic Dillon's in Back Bay. The event will be hosted on Monday, Dec 12 from 6 - 8:30 PM. You can expect to network with fellow planners and suppliers and enjoy a magician, snap pics at the photo booth, and dance to fun music from our DJ! | 3. What are some of your favorite parts of planning these events? As I plan events for my "real" job as well, my favorite part of planning is being able to see all of the hard work come together onsite and how the events connect people and provide amazing networking opportunities! | 4. What are some of the unique challenges the special projects committee encounters? It has been difficult to secure venues post-COVID given the lack of availability, and this has consolidated our planning timeline for all of our special projects events. | 5. Will we see you at the holiday party?? I have a potential work trip that has popped up, but I'm hoping to make it happen so I can see all of the hard work of the Special Projects Committee come together! |
