Save the date for the AdvancED Michigan Fall Conference, Dream Big, scheduled for October 11. The conference will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan. The conference will highlight three strands of the continuous improvement journey, with sessions designed to support institutions starting their journey, those well into their journey and those leading the journey. The Fall 2018 Michigan Department of Education School Improvement Conference, Continuously Improving to Support Learning and Learners, is scheduled for November 19 – 20 at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan.

The second day of the conference features Keynote Speaker LeAnn Nickelsen, M.Ed. Hear firsthand classroom experiences and advice from LeAnn... “Really? Double the speed of learning if I use the formative assessment process in my classroom? Yes! Research explains how much this one teaching concept can change a classroom, grade level, an entire school and district! In other words, you can’t close gaps with certain tools and differentiate appropriately if you don’t have the formative assessment process occurring.”
