To assist districts in their district-wide technology planning, there has been an activity enhancement to the Goal Builder. You now are able to add up to four different activity types for each activity in your plan. If schools and districts correctly label all technology-related activities, then districts can run a report of all those activities to use in the district-wide technology planning process for the following school year.

As a reminder, there are two other important options for reviewing activities–-Activity Tier and Activity Phase.
These two categories are not new to ASSIST; however, they do provide schools and districts with valuable information.
Assigning a tier allows schools and districts to review activities related to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). MTSS is an integrated, multi-tiered system of instruction, assessment and intervention designed to meet the academic achievement and behavioral health needs of all students.
Assigning a phase in one of the four school improvement process areas (Getting Ready, Implement, Monitor and Evaluate) will help schools and districts unpack the work and determine if additional items need to be added in any area.
