Technology Planning Clarification

Participation in the Technology Readiness Infrastructure Grant (TRIG) requires that Local Education Agencies (LEAs) identify existing activities within their school and/or district improvement plans that are technology related.  There is no free standing technology plan requirement; however, you may generate a technology related activity report in ASSIST.  If you already have submitted your school or district improvement plan you do not need to reopen it. Plans do not have to be reopened in order to modify activities.  Nonpublic schools do not have a technology requirement but can use the template available at www.techplan.org for their technology planning activities.

View the May 14 memo for additional information.

TRIG Training

If you missed the training opportunities for the new technology planning process, a recorded webinar will be available online. Visit www.22itrig.org and www.techplan.org for additional information.
