We are excited to announce that the AdvancED Fall Conference 2014 will be held at a new location - The Crowne Plaza Hotel Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia!
The AdvancED Georgia Fall Conference 2014 will examine how learning platforms are transforming into personalized environments where learners both participate in and create their own learning experiences, highlighting a modern system of education focused on what’s best to prepare students for tomorrow’s world.
Join us as we discuss how to:
- expand the use of high quality data, evidence and information to drive improvement
- anchor efforts in a comprehensive, research-based continuous improvement process
- make the diagnostic review an integral part of efforts to improve learning

Call for Conference Presenters

In preparation for the Annual Fall Conference, the AdvancED Georgia Council is seeking presenters to conduct sessions during the conference. Presenters should be prepared to share continuous improvement strategies, approaches, experiences and results that reflect the conference theme--Creating Learner Centric Environments. Please email Danielle Strickland for a proposal form. Proposals should be submitted by August 1.

AdvancED Launches Redesigned Website

AdvancED recently launched a redesigned website to provide visitors with an improved online experience. The result is a fresh, new look with streamlined navigation, real-time social media interaction and more concise and relevant information. The new AdvancED.org site includes improved location maps for the over 40 AdvancED Managing Offices worldwide using Google Maps and mobile device viewing capabilities. of formative assessment. Co-authored with W. James Popham, Ed.D., a UCLA emeritus professor,
It’s Time to Abandon Our Rube Goldberg Accountability Contraptions emphasizes that “today’s
accountability systems fail to identify the root causes of underperformance and therefore fail to
