Take a moment to review the New Diagnostics in ASSIST memo sent by the Deputy Superintendent’s Office on January 22, 2015. This information was sent to school and district administrators as part of the weekly communications from MDE.

Please note that the School Data Analysis is being streamlined to remove redundancy. You already may have noticed that it has been removed from the list of available diagnostics in ASSIST. It is anticipated that the updated diagnostic will be available by the end of March.

All districts and single building districts will be required to complete the new Career-and College-Ready Implementation Status Diagnostic. This new diagnostic is only three questions long, and the template is available on the AdvancED/MDE website under the Templates tab for your review prior to completion. The due date for this diagnostic is June 30, 2015.

Please be sure to read the Reporting Requirements memo sent by Deputy Superintendent Natasha Baker. This information was sent to all schools and districts on January 15, 2015. The memo discusses the Accountability and Accreditation School/District Reporting Requirements. The memo outlines the online reports to be submitted during the designated timeframes. The reports are accessible through ASSIST.
