Submit Your Nominations for the Spirit of St. Louis Awards!

The Spirit of St. Louis Awards recognizes programs and individuals that exemplify the spirit of hospitality and have a positive impact on the tourism industry in St. Louis. Winners will be announced at the May 2020 meeting. This has been pushed back to avoid trying to submit nominations during the busy holiday season at the end of the year. Winners will receive a plaque and free admission to the SLAA auction the following November. Nominations are accepted year round.
Eligible nominees may have served in any variety of positions, ranging from front-line service to management, at an attraction, hotel, restaurant, or with any other associated or affiliated industry. Both members and non-members of SLAA are eligible to receive awards; however, nominations must be submitted by a SLAA member. You are welcome to make unlimited nominations. Thank you to The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis for being a great host at our March luncheon. We hope everyone enjoyed the elegance of this hotel and dining at the Ritz! We appreciate Brian Hall, Chief Marketing Officer at Explore St. Louis for his St. Louis Update. We also learned that Brian does not always obey traffic signals when crossing downtown streets so be on the lookout for him! Also, thank you to Ms. Christie Pink, Director of Sales and Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis for her updates and generous hospitality!

Just because it's April doesn't mean we're not thinking about the Silent Auction - it's only 7 months away! If you want to donate something to the auction, please reach out the Tyler, Dawn, or Brooke - we're happy to meet you to collect your donations. We're also always looking for donations for the Trip Raffle.
We are also in need of sponsorships - want to get your name in front of all the SLAA membership? Want to speak about your company at a meeting? Want social media posts on SLAA's social media before and after the meeting, plus recognition in the newsletter?
