Linda O

Welcome

It’s hard to believe we are heading into the final quarter for 2015 with only 87 days until Christmas!

I am pleased to advise that Griffith continues to perform strongly in world university rankings having maintained its position as one of the world’s leading universities in 2015 QS World University Rankings. The prestigious annual review has ranked Griffith in the top 400 tertiary institutions globally, with an overall position of 329.

This latest recognition follows the release in August of the 2015 Academic Ranking of World Universities in which Griffith improved its international standing and consolidated its position as one of only two South-East Queensland universities ranked in the global top 400.

I look forward to seeing you at our next Friends of the Library events: ‘Not just for the young at heart: social robots and older people’ and ‘Uber-Friendly: Contemporary Library Design’ and encourage you to register for the Rare and Threatened Plant Walk on the Gold Coast campus.
