PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

What a great golf event we had on April 26th!  The weather was perfect and seeing all our chapter members, sponsors, and guests made the day even better. I saw a lot of familiar faces and some new faces.

Our membership numbers continue to grow. I feel that is a testament to the community that we’ve built and the powerful network we have.

Also the chapter is in great hands for our next fiscal year. I’m excited about the upcoming strategic planning retreat on May 18th and 19th and hearing what the 2023-2024 leadership team has in mind for next year. The feedback you provided on our annual survey will help guide the direction of the chapter for years to come.

If you want to be a part of the planning process and help move the chapter forward, please consider joining a committee. The minimum time commitment is one hour per month, and you can take on tasks and challenges as your availability permits. Please reach out to anyone on the Board or the committee chairs to learn more about how you can contribute to the success of the chapter and deepen the connections you have within the chapter.

GTC OF IFMA TO IMPLEMENT A 3% SERVICE FEE FOR CREDIT CARD PROCESSING

Thank you for being a member of the Greater Triangle Chapter and for helping us to successfully navigate through the challenges of Covid restrictions and ever-changing economic conditions. Participation in all our events is on the rise and we’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead!

Due to an overall increase in the cost of goods and services, beginning in our new fiscal year (July 1st, 2023) the Greater Triangle Chapter of IFMA will begin adding a 3% convenience fee to credit card transactions. This fee, which we have covered in all previous years, is charged by our credit card processor, and is necessary to enable us to keep events free for all attendees where possible.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our mission. We’ll see you at the next event!

APRIL 2023 ALIGN TOUR RECAP

Align Photo

Around 50 IFMA members and guests toured the Align facility on Thursday, April 6th. The Align Technology tour and social was amazing! They have truly thought of everything to enhance the employee experience including smoothies, shakes, & their own Starbucks.  With an on-site garden, hiking paths, and bee hives, they understand how they impact their community as well.

Thank you Terry Caskey and Dawn Moynihan for opening your doors to us and for faciliting this informational tour and fun social for our chapter.
