Mark Your Calendar for the March 18th Meeting - Regional Tourism Update

Come join us on March 18th at Old Herald Brewery & Distillery for an update on all of the great tourism activities happening in the Metro-East! Mitch Bair, Collinsville City Manager and Executive Board Member of the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau will be speaking about how the communities supported by the Great Rivers & Routes CVB are marketed to attract visitors to the region. Kitty Ratcliffe, President of Explore St. Louis will provide information on Explore St. Louis' projects, marketing campaigns and what's new in 2020. Click here for more information and to register.

Submit Your Nominations for the Spirit of St. Louis Awards!

The Spirit of St. Louis Awards recognizes programs and individuals that exemplify the spirit of hospitality and have a positive impact on the tourism industry in St. Louis. Winners will be announced at the May 2020 meeting. This has been pushed back to avoid trying to submit nominations during the busy holiday season at the end of the year. Winners will receive a plaque and free admission to the SLAA auction the following November. Nominations are accepted year round.
Eligible nominees may have served in any variety of positions, ranging from front-line service to management, at an attraction, hotel, restaurant, or with any other associated or affiliated industry. Both members and non-members of SLAA are eligible to receive awards; however, nominations must be submitted by a SLAA member. You are welcome to make unlimited nominations.
