President's Message
Happy October Everyone!
We have a wonderful tour scheduled on October 28 at Dock 1053. This is an exciting redevelopment project for us all to see. Redevelopment in Urban Infill is where the action is these days so don’t miss this opportunity to learn and see firsthand an exciting project!
World Workplace is about to happen. We have a large number of folks attending and wish them the best as they learn and network together. Our very own Buck Fisher is being recognized as an IFMA Fellow and we are all so proud of this honor for Buck. His contributions to our local Chapter have been tremendous and have been instrumental in helping our Chapter to grow in numbers and quality.
Your Board is working hard to make this a great year for our Chapter. Please provide us all with thoughtful suggestions and insights on how we might incorporate programs and events that will compel the Professional Members to come and not miss out.

October Tour and Social
Property owners and facility managers in the Triangle are no strangers to adaptive reuse, but what does a building look like before the renovation, how does the process start, and what are the pros and the cons. We have a great opportunity to tour the Dock 1053 building in the early planning phase on Wednesday, October 28th at 4:00PM.
Adaptive reuse isn’t your thing? Well, Lynnwood Brewing is in the building, and we will be touring it as well! There will be an After Hours following the tour at the brewery.
