Last month, a widely publicized set of lawsuits filed in New York sought limited legal personhood as a basis for removing chimpanzees from research labs. In this video debate, Pepperdine Law professor Rick Cupp discussed the cases with Steven Wise, the prominent animal rights writer and former Harvard adjunct professor/attorney who filed the lawsuits.
