Our training program Working with Patients Suffering a Chronic Illness: Strategies & Changing the Narrative puts focus on understanding the narrative that clients are using to relate to their illness. Participants will explore tools to help navigate these conversations, and create a meaning-making dialogue that gives some relief, and agency with their illness. Sunnybrook’s Centre for Youth Bipolar Disorder, together with parents of youth with bipolar disorder, and the Mood Disorders Association of Ontario, present a free education event on March 28th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Sunnybrook HSC (Bayview campus).
This 6th annual event is open to anyone with an interest in learning more about youth bipolar disorder. Family members will share their perspectives and current research will be presented.
