This Week's BLLA Commentary
Next Gen Boutique Money Movement
Each year, BLLA gathers the hospitality professionals pushing boutique forward in New York at the Boutique Hotel Investment Conference. In its sixth iteration, the BHIC has established itself as the incubator for movement that reinvigorates our niche community.
In a few short months, we join together once more the investors, hoteliers, designers, suppliers and technologists that make our beloved world of boutique go ‘round. In keeping with the recent amalgamation of all things luxury and lifestyle, our presenters this year have backgrounds in all walks of hospitality. They have demonstrated track records of bringing today's traveler what they want, and join us to tackle the topic of Next Gen Boutique Money.
Javier Egipciaco is the managing director at Arlo Hotels. Launched in 2016, Arlo combines the best of what micro hotels, boutique hotels and lifestyle brands have to offer. We’re excited to hear how a boutique hotel in a city as culturally eclectic as New York thrives.
Todd-Wynne Perry, is the executive VP, Global Brands and Development at renowned lifestyle group, Two Roads Hospitality. Famous for their keen understanding of the well-traveled millennial and their five-star amenities, Two Roads is one of today’s premier lifestyle groups. Perry will join us to dissect the trends widening profit margins in boutique hotels globally.
Anyone who knows BLLA knows we think outside the box. We succeed in stoking movement in the community because we practice what we preach, taking inspiration from any and everywhere. That’s why we’re also bringing you presenters from media mega giants, Vox and Highsnobiety, and a panel hosted by The Council of Fashion Designers of America.
The offerings of brands are becoming more and more comprehensive as we progress into the future of boutique hospitality. As such, we see it as only fitting to bring you an eclectic line up of professionals who have a thorough understanding of today’s pro-sumer.
