Why you should attend the 2017 NFPA Technical Meeting
The NFPA Conference and Technical Meeting will be held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
At the Association Technical Meeting on June 7th, important code changes will be brought up for vote.
The 2017 meeting is especially important because changes to NFPA 99 and NFPA 101
will be voted on during the same code development cycle.
This meeting is important to:
Architects, who should speak up for codes that give them flexibility in design.
Designers, who should advocate for flexibility in selecting materials and furnishings.
Facility Managers, who should be there to vote on code changes that will affect their
facilities for years to come.
Hospital Administrators, who should work to protect capital investments.
Contractors, who should support uni ed codes to better serve their clients.
To be eligible to vote, you must have been a member of NFPA by December 9, 2016.
