Presidents Message

“Like the warmth of the sun and the light of the day, may the luck of the Irish shine bright on your way” ~an Irish Blessing

Happy March!  March has always been a great month for my family!  We are very fortunate to be celebrating many successes this month in our home, and I hope the good luck extends to you all as well!

I also hope this month brings some much needed sun and warmth to our state.  We have had to cancel two events already now due to snow and ice, hopefully that is behind us now.  As we move into the end of what is our 3rd quarter of our fiscal year, we have some exciting upcoming events ahead.

Our 1st Professional Member Event & Annual Sponsor Reception is coming up on March 19th!  This event is in response to an overwhelming number of requests over the past few years to have a professional member only event.  We are pairing it with an Annual Sponsor reception to thank the Associate members and their companies who give year after year so that we may have events like this.   Also ahead is our Mike Bradley Memorial IFMA Foundation Golf Tournament on April 29th and we hope to reschedule the Citrix tour in the spring as well.  We are excited to have a paid speaker at our June meeting as well.

We are eagerly working on finishing this fiscal year strong (ends June 30th) and planning for next year.  Coming out shortly you will see the nominations for next year’s board officers.  These new officers will be sworn in at the June 10th monthly meeting.   We also have our planning session in May and are welcoming new committee members always!  Please let board members know if you are interested in serving on a committee, it’s a great way to meet people and get involved with the planning of chapter events.

Please email Chapter VP Randy Rabon with any comments or concerns you may have regarding your membership.

Thank you again for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your president this year, and please do not hesitate to contact me if I can assist in making your IFMA membership better in any way!
