We are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2018 Griffith Business School Outstanding Alumni Awards.

These four winners stand tall among their distinguished peers as representing the best of what our graduates achieve after leaving university. We look forward to celebrating with them at the Griffith Business School Gala Dinner on 2 November 2018.

We also wish them luck as finalists in the 2018 Griffith University Alumni Awards, which will be announced and celebrated on 2 September 2018.

QBM Griffith MBA Responsible Leadership Scholarship

QBM ScholarshipThe 2018 search for responsible leaders of the future has begun. Griffith Business School has partnered with The Courier Mail’s Queensland Business Monthly (QBM) to offer the QBM Griffith MBA Responsible Leadership Scholarships competition for the third year in a row.

The competition offers a total prize package of approximately $130,000, including a full scholarship for the Griffith MBA. The Griffith MBA is nationally recognised as one of the best in Australia with a current ranking of 4th in the prestigious Australian Financial Review (AFR) BOSS MBA rankings.  

We encourage all aspiring business leaders interested in starting their MBA studies in October 2018 or February 2019 to enter this remarkable competition.

Body Science founders set new standards for health industry

coupleEstablished in a Gold Coast suburban home in 1999, Body Science has become a strong market contender in the health, nutrition and fitness industries. From elite athletes and teams competing at the highest levels of performance, to the everyday person eager to transform their own health and fitness, Body Science products are changing lives for the better. 

Life and business partners Sheree and Greg Young studied with Griffith University, graduating with majors in Accounting and Social Sciences. The duo have maintained their ties with the Griffith community, through sponsorship of the University's Women's Rugby 7's team, and are currently working with a PhD student undertaking musculoskeletal research. Learn more about Body Science

Global vision drives Jon's foundation for social change 

Arriving in Australia in 2012, Jon Andre Pederson was ready to embrace opportunity and create change. Griffith’s International Business and International Relations programs paved the foundations for his forthcoming career. Jon took advantage of global exchange and internship opportunities, before pursuing start-ups and social ventures in Hong Kong and South Korea. 

On completion of his dual degree, Jon returned to Hong Kong, landing his role as co-founder and board member of the Foundation for Shared Impact (FSI), fostering social innovation and entrepreneurship.
