The new BSCC Lausanne Chapter will be officially inaugurated in the Olympic Capital
in the presence of the British Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein on 29 September 2021 

The Lausanne region has had one of the highest economic growth rates in Switzerland in recent years and it is home to many multinationals, leading universities and most of the world's top sports organisations. It is also the judicial capital of Switzerland.

The new BSCC Lausanne Chapter will hold several events a year to meet the needs and interests of the English-speaking business communities in the Lausanne area, but also in the rest of French-speaking Switzerland.

Join us at the launch event on 29^th September at the magnificent Royal Savoy Hotel, where HE Jane Owen will be honouring us by opening the evening.

Guests will also have an opportunity to hear from another two great speakers, Susan Goldsworthy OLY, Professor at the prestigious IMD and former Olympic finalist Christiaan Page, Founder of Legacy Sports, who will have just returned from the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The new Lausanne Chapter will be chaired by Guillaume Grisel (Bonnard Lawson), with a passionate team:
Finn Toennessen (Microshare), Laurine Chiarini (CVCI) and Nicholas Creak (Lombard Odier). Each in their own field, they all have a professional focus on international business, with an emphasis on the UK.

Partnership between the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Interpharma 

Interpharma and the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce enter into a partnership. Important topics for the Life Science hubs Switzerland and United Kingdom will be discussed during BSCC Life Science Club events.

In Switzerland, pharmaceutical products account for 44% of total exports (2020), while in the UK, the pharmaceutical industry is the second most important exporter of goods. The two countries are of great importance both for Europe and in direct trade. The partnership will offer BSCC and Interpharma members the opportunity for exchange and networking across organisational borders.
