Top 10 Reasons to Attend T3 Seattle
by Jim Sullivan, CEO and Founder, Sullivision.com

As a longtime CHART member and presenter, I’d like to share my Top Ten Reasons to attend CHART’s T3 Conference in Seattle this February…

10. Be where your colleagues are. Don’t let that brand across the street or that chain down the block get a monopoly on good ideas, new product expertise and thought leadership because they went to T3 Seattle and you didn’t. One training resource you will want to consider is industry certifications. Certifications provided by industry-leading hospitality associations are developed on core competencies, industry standards and common nomenclature to determine an individual’s knowledge and skill level. When certifications are strategically placed in an employee’s learning plan, they provide a validation of their progress and an acknowledgement of their success. Read More.

Your Board at Work for You
by Jason Lyon, CHART President and CEO & Founder, Boondocks Hip

You see our enthusiastic caring at our conferences, read our sharing through our blogs posts and Ask My Peers replies, and learn with us at RTFs, but do you know how your board helps CHART grow year round?

Throughout our term we work on behalf of our membership with bi-weekly accountability conference calls as well as intense face-to-face meetings on a quarterly basis to set and facilitate our Widely Important Goals (WIGs).
Just over a month ago we met for our quarterly meeting in Seattle to not only start the planning for T3 in February 2016, but also to set, plan, and strategize our efforts for the year ahead. The following goals will be keeping us engaged in the coming months: Read More.
