Thank you to the Saint Louis Zoo for being such a fun host for our July luncheon, and to Madden Media for sponsoring. We hope everyone made some great connections during our Bingo Game, and got to see a different side of the Zoo! Submit Your Nominations for the 2018 Spirit of St. Louis Award!
|
The Spirit of St. Louis Awards recognizes programs and individuals that exemplify the spirit of hospitality and have a positive impact on the tourism industry in St. Louis. Winners will be announced at the January meeting. This year, winners will also receive free admission to the SLAA auction the following November. Nominations are accepted year round but completed forms must be submitted by Friday, November 16th.
Eligible nominees may have served in any variety of positions, ranging from front-line service to management, at an attraction, hotel, restaurant, or with any other associated or affiliated industry. Both members and non-members of SLAA are eligible to receive awards; however, nominations must be submitted by a SLAA member. You are welcome to make unlimited nominations. Congratulations to all of our raffle winners at the July meeting! Cheryl Haney was the winner of the 50/50 Raffle, Michelle Webb was the winner of the Zoo basket, and Renee Eichelberger was the winner of the Trip Raffle which included a one-night stay at Drury Hotels, two passes to Sunken Cities at the Saint Louis Art Museum, two Gateway Motorsports Kartplex passes, two Destination Moon exhibition passes and two Aircraft Carrier OMNIMAX Theatre passes from the Saint Louis Science Center.
