President's Message
Welcome to fall everyone! Football, back to school, cooler weather, shorter days...now that we are changing gears and really getting back into the swing of some momentum as we come out of summer, now is a good time for me to pitch a suggestion to us all. Let me set this up with one of my favorite quotes:
“Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.” Will Rogers
It’s very true that we all learn so much from the college of hard knocks, but there are quite a few out there who find good mentors and learn by coaching. I am encouraging you to be a mentor to a younger associate and to make time to share with them your valuable professional life experiences. I tell my kids all the time to ask older folks for advice and guidance and emphasize to them that most of my generation will stop their world to help a young person who sincerely wants some help. Please consider making that a priority this month and put yourself out there. It’s an investment you will not regret, and our FM profession will be the great beneficiary.
Randy Rabon, President 2015-2016

Buck Fisher Named IFMA Fellow
The 2015 Fellows Nominating Committee and Jury has named our very own Buck Fisher an IFMA Fellow!
This recognition is the highest honor paid to a member of the association. The distinction of IFMA Fellow takes into account the significant contributions and impact to both IFMA and the profession of facility management as well as an expectation that the individual will continue as an ambassador for both in the future.
We offer Buck our most energetic and animated applause and congratulate him on being recognized on the National level. Buck is a long standing treasure for our GTC of IFMA, and we are very grateful that he has been recognized by this extraordinary achievement. Please be sure to thank Buck for his leadership and many hours of tireless work!
