I own an android cell phone. Ninety percent of the functionality goes unused. Most of the apps were pre-installed. They get opened only when I accidentally tap on it, and I can’t stop the phone from continually (and annoyingly) installing updates on those apps.
There is so much technology available nowadays and they really do get in the way. Having extra features that are unnecessary not only adds unseen costs, but it also clutter ups the functions I ACTUALLY need and creates additional complexity.
It’s hard to resist the the bells and whistles. They let us dream up lots of fancy things we can do (start a Google hangout and read a magazine all through my phone!). But at the end of the day, all I really need to do is to make phone calls, check email and text my husband about dinner plans.
