What better way to celebrate the
300th issue of this weekly
e-newsletter than to devote it
to thinking of others especially
others less fortunate than
ourselves?
Singapore is a
rich and generous city-state
where it is not only the many
wealthy people and strong
businesses who devote time and
money to a wide variety of
community causes. Many citizens
and residents donate according
to their means and volunteer
regularly. This is laudable and
necessary for the common good
especially in the tougher
economic climate we are all
navigating today. Here is a
thought for the day from Assisi
Hospice.
There are two
certainties in life: death and
taxes. Assisi Hospice helps you
and your family with the former.
The Hospice provides palliative
care to enable people to live
well and to leave well.
Like all of us, Assisi Hospice
has pivoted away from face to
face events and volunteering to
virtual tours and townhalls. It
needs your help now more than
