"Wastewater
treatment is sometimes one of the least attended areas of a petroleum
refinery. Improper performance of a treatment plant can potentially
degrade treated effluent quality and adversely affect the smooth
functioning of a refinery, as a whole...
The Headworks process
team led by Dr. Somnath Basu, formerly a senior technologist of the
Shell Oil Co. Global Water team, developed a MBBR-based high rate
treatment process for these difficult wastewaters.
MBBR is an innovative
and state-of-the-art process that overcomes many challenges associated
with refractory and toxic chemicals by promoting their breakdown by the
action of microbial population present in the reactor in the form of
fixed films." Read More

"Most
inventors
who reside in the United States generally file their patent
applications
in the U.S. Once a U.S. patent application issues as a U.S.
patent,
ownership of it gives the patent owner the right to
exclude
others in the U.S. from making, using, offering for sale, selling,
or importing
into the U.S. the invention claimed in the patent...
If an inventor or
company desires to obtain foreign patent rights, they need to secure
foreign patent protection for their invention." Read More |

“Come and build relationships. MENA is a relationship economy...
I would extend a thought
by advising that the first order of business in any MENA country is
friendship. In the MENA region, Large gatherings, family feasts
and drinking tea together are simple vehicles of building
friendships and relationships.
My advice,
if someone offers you tea, drink it. Consider this as a gesture of friendship." Read More |
