Greetings in Christ!
By way of introduction, my name is Crysten Sanchez and I am the Conference Executive for Higher Things. You're receiving this email because you're registered as a Group Leader for your group which will be attending one of the conferences this summer. Over the next 10 weeks, you'll receive communication from me with all of the information you'll need to be prepared for your week at Watermarked!
Before I jump into business, I want to address what is at the forefront of everyone's minds right now: COVID-19. Higher Things is monitoring the situation closely. I have been in almost daily communication with all four of our conference sites. As of right now, none of them are changing their summer schedules. Neither are we. We will continue to pay attention to government and CDC mandates and recommendations. My commitment to you is that I will update you at least every two weeks with any changed plans or pertinent information. Please pray for us as we continue to plan in the face of such uncertainty!
And now, back to business as usual!
Registration Balances
Make certain that you have your registration balances paid in full by April 30th, 2020. A late fee of $25.00 per person's unpaid balance will be assessed beginning on May 1st. Contact our Registrar, Cyndy Bishop (registrar@higherthings.org) with any questions or concerns.
There will be no refunds given beginning on May 1, 2020 (including individuals who do not show up at conference check-in). If you need to cancel a registrant and you do not have a replacement, make sure this is done by April 30, 2020. You may make substitutions at no charge until then, but beginning on May 1st there will be a $25.00 charge per substitution.

Background Checks
Each individual who is 21 years of age or older at the time of the conference is required to pass and present a National Criminal and Sexual Predator background check. Cyndy has already sent communication out to you about this, but if you have questions, contact her and she'll be able to offer assistance. These background checks are due on May 1st, electronically is preferred.
Forms
You will find registration and medical forms in our registration materials. You will NOT need to turn either of those in to us, but we highly recommend you travel with copies of both, filled out appropriately, for the safety of the youth in your care.
