Welcome to our 5th e-update for the National Housing Conference 2013 – a new way home...
Updated program and speakers announced
The conference program is taking shape with a number of expert speakers confirmed, including the first of our international keynote guests – Mr David Cowans, head of Places for People, UK. David returns to Australia to provide his UK perspective on the future development of the not-for-profit housing sector – the opportunities and barriers and in particular the relationship with government housing providers.
The program outline now inlcudes more detail on the major concurrent sessions on Thursday and Friday mornings. These sessions will tackle the major conference themes – social good financing, market-design, client-centred service delivery, urban place-making and economic development.
These themes will flow through to the smaller concurrent sessions in the afternoon – providing the opportunity to get into the 'nitty-gritty' of these issues through a range of practice workshops, new research releases and cutting edge policy debates.
