I often get asked by some of you for ideas and recommendations for CSR activities which are impactful, meaningful and well worth your time and that of your teams. I have two suggestions for your consideration this year both about the theme of inclusion of underserved communities which deserve more attention and help from businesses.

The first suggestion is APSN which stands for the Association for People with Special Needs. This association serves the intellectually different most of whom are able to perform a variety of service and other roles, including repetitive tasks, with ease and a high level of accuracy that the rest of us would not excel at.

The second suggestion is DOT which stands for Daughters of Tomorrow. This association serves the needs of underprivileged women by facilitating livelihood opportunities and by supporting them in achieving financial independence. One way would be look after children while their mothers attend courses.
