In many respects, 2022 has delivered the best of times and the worst of times. We have witnessed the reverberations of war across Eastern Europe and experienced the destructive impacts of climate change as Southern Queensland and our New South Wales neighbours were ravaged by devastating flood events. Despite the ongoing challenges of acclimating to the ‘new normal’ in a post-pandemic world and all the complexities facing the higher education sector, 2022 has seen a real uplift compared to the last two years.
