The Bilateral Chamber is proud to support the 6th annual Willem C. Vis Middle East Pre-Moot, a highly prestigious international competition for law students on the subjects of international commercial law and arbitration.
Hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), in coordination with the Bahrain Center of Disputes and Resolutions (BCDR), the Royal University for Women, Mena Chambers, and the University of Pittsburg School of Law, the 6th annual Vis Pre-Moot will train the next generation of judges, lawyers, professors and arbitration practitioners through a series of simulated written & oral advocacy experiences, thereby honing their skills in arbitration practice and business-dispute resolution. This multi-day event will convene over 10 teams
from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia,
among others.
