HELP WANTED: JOIN A CSPRC COMMITTEE
CSPRC is seeking motivated volunteers for its communications, membership, program and SPECTRUM committees. These committee positions not only help CSPRC continue its pursuit of excellence, but they help you build your resume and enhance your networking opportunities. CSPRC considers committee members to become the future leaders of its board of directors. Committees are a great starting point to getting involved in a great organization.

Each committee is looking for individuals that are team oriented and interested in organizing professional development opportunities for local nonprofit professionals. You’ll attend regular committee meetings and take part in brainstorming, planning and implementing strategies to help CSPRC succeed.

Thank You for Attending the April Luncheon,
"Connecting with Corporate Volunteers"
held by CSPRC and Metropolitan Volunteer Management Association:
CSPRC and MVMA thank our panelists for sharing their "talents of the trade" at our April luncheon. Great ideas included how to recruit large corporations for major projects, and how to convert their willingness to volunteer into financial support. Dual-marketing ideas, including strategies to create win-win project opportunities, provided us with insights into creating powerful partnerships that support our mission, and make people feel great about their contributions. Please thank our panelists:Panelists:

June 12, 2012 Luncheon – “It Takes a Village: A Collective Impact Case Study”
Most of us in nonprofit know how hard it can be to draw attention to and inspire community advocacy for our causes. The nearly 100% volunteer-run St. Louis Regional Early Childhood Council leads the effort to build a comprehensive system addressing the full range of early childhood needs for all St. Louis area children. Elizabeth George, vice president of Deaconness Foundation, explains how they did it and what a difference it makes when you create your own village.
