Reminder: The deadline for getting in your scholarship application and letter of support into the WMCA office is July 9th-either postmarked in the mail or emailed by midnight.

The Wisconsin Clerk’s Education Fund (WCEF) is here for you and has developed a scholarship program for the WMCA membership. As the donations and interest earned in the account grows, the WCEF Committee offers scholarships for WMCA members to attend WMCA trainings and conferences.
The WCEF Committee has met and determined that registration for the 41st Annual WMCA Conference is $210, and the hotel rooms start at $107 per night and have set the Full Scholarship at $425. It was noted that this is WMCA’s 41st year and, therefore, it was voted to award 21 - $425 scholarships, 20 - $210 scholarships (A total of 41 scholarships honoring WMCA’s 41st Year). The Committee has also voted to randomly will choose 15 attendees that attend the full conference and are still in the room on Friday at 11:30 am to win a $100 reimbursement check at the close of the conference for a total of $14,625 in scholarship awards.
As President Helgeson says, this conference is a great opportunity for us to all get back together for some great education and wonderful networking with our fellow clerks. Therefore, we hope to see you in Brookfield, and if you need a little financial help to get there, please apply for a WCEF Scholarship.
