August 8, 2013, 9-11 AM
Location: Universal Studios Hollywood
RSVP
  • This briefing will explore the principles of recovery as it relates to diagnosed mental illness with a focus on reducing stigma and discrimination as it relates to these illnesses. Our panelists will draw from personal experiences to assist in the creation of storylines that can reduce stigma and discrimination while amping up character development and enhancing storytelling.
At each briefing, our expert panel will be available to answer questions and provide shows and movies with fodder for their creative endeavors to address these issues.

Whether your production is a police or procedural, medical, legal, science fiction, family or domestic drama, or a comedy about parenthood, work situations or growing up, there should be something here for them in preparation for movies or potential episodes for the coming season.

I’m asking you to request that your shows each send a representative to each of these briefings to seek out the new colors they may need to expand their creative palettes for storytelling and accuracy. If you are unable to attend our briefings or are looking for information on other topics we have a variety of alternative options including our First Draft on the Menu luncheon briefings that can be tailored to the needs of your team. Click here for a list of some of the topics we cover.

Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.
