Message from the President

Dear HRMA Members,

Thanksgiving is almost upon us and we have much to be grateful for within HRMA! First off, Katie Magoon, Nicole Schlanger and the rest of our 2017 Conference team managed to pull off our best conference yet! We had over 500 attendees and some phenomenal speakers! We also had great participation from our business partners, without whom the conference would not be possible. Click here to read more.

November 15th Breakfast Meeting - Attract. Retain. Succeed.
It is essential to hire and retain talented, hard-working individuals who can help your business thrive. Competitive compensation and benefit programs are critical to attracting these employees and securing them for the long-term success of your business.

How would your business be affected if your most valuable employee quit tomorrow? If you're a small business owner who depends on the efforts of your best people, you need to provide strong incentives for those people to stay with you as opposed to going to work for a competitor. Businesses are more likely to offer an additional selective benefit if it's simple, effective, and flexible.

This seminar discusses how Key-Man employee benefits and executive bonus plans can help prevent this problem from arising and be able to maintain the success of your company. Click here for more information and to register.

Young professionals from Starkloff Disability Institute and AAIM Employers' Association were also invited to attend. The evening was laid back with food, drinks, and plenty of opportunity to network with individuals in a similar stage of their career. Are you a young professional (in age or experience) who is looking to get involved with YP events? Be sure to check the HRMA calendar and your email for announcements about future events. The YP group looks forward to future events in 2018, beginning with a kickoff speed networking event after the first of the year.
