"To Inspire People"

  "Team Building~ Leading By Example"
Team-Building picture

For team building, members of an organization should try to use the words “us,” “our,” “we,” and so forth instead of “I” or “my.” This is more inclusive and encourages group effort, while showing that all will be recognized for an effort and not just one person.

Good leaders will never ask some
one to do a task that they wouldn’t do themselves. Often there are things that need to be done that are not the most attractive or pleasant. A good leader will not push these off on subordinates just because he or she doesn’t want to do it themselves, but rather because it has to be done. If all team members know that the leader is not “above” this task, it makes it much more palatable, and will inspire for all to chip in equally.

Always ask others for their input when discussing the need to get a project or task done. Solicit their opinion on better, faster, less expensive ways to achieve the goal – allow them to have some ownership in achieving the goal.
