Center for the Arts Presents Into the Woods Nov. 13-22

Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
Book by James Lapine
Dimitri Toscas, Director

Fractured fairytales come to life in this timeless and relevant Tony Award-winning musical. A childless baker and his wife endeavor to lift their family curse by journeying into the woods, where they are met by a host of Brothers Grimm characters. Everyone in the story has a wish—and in true fairytale fashion, their wishes are granted—but what they have to do to get their wishes is a whole different story!

into the woods

Into the Woods offers a glimpse of what happens after "happily ever after"; what begins as a clever diversion, a simple fairytale, ultimately leads down a dark path of self-discovery to a universal message of hope.

Smothers Theatre:
Thursday, November 13–Saturday, November 15, 2014, 7:30 PM
Matinee: Sunday, November 16, 2 PM
Thursday, November 20–Saturday, November 22, 7:30 PM
