Greetings HRMA members and welcome to October! Fall is here and so is the 2017 HRMA Leadership Conference. We could not be more excited to welcome all of our fantastic speakers, including Bob Chapman and Rocky Sickmann! We also have a few other very special surprises in store, so if you have not yet registered please do so here. There are also a few sponsorship opportunities still available, but you need to act fast.

Headshots at HRMA Annual Leadership Conference

Need a new photo for your LinkedIn page or a professional photo for your employer's website? HRMA Leadership Conference attendees will have the opportunity to have a photo taken for a donation of $20 or more to the SHRM Foundation. Jim Wolf, former President of HRMA St. Louis and President of Human Resource Management Corporation will be providing photography services. The donation can be made onsite via check or charge.
The SHRM Foundation is a values-based organization whose mission is to champion workforce and workplace transformation by providing research-based HR solutions for challenging inclusion issues facing current and potential employees, scholarships to educate and develop HR professionals to make change happen and opportunities for HR professionals to make a difference in their local communities. The SHRM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizational affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, and relies on charitable contributions to fund their causes.

Young Professionals Event - Earliest Holiday Party of the Year
|
HRMA young professionals are cordially invited to network at the Earliest Holiday Party of the Year. HR professionals are often the people who put hard work into workplace holiday festivities. Before you start putting together holiday events at your office, come network with professionals in our field and enjoy complimentary appetizers. There will be a cash bar available. Register soon, space is limited.
HRMA is also excited to welcome young professionals from AAIM and Starkloff Disability Institute to this event. Attendees will have the chance to hear from these organizations about the networking opportunities they offer.

Save the Date for the Workforce & Workplace Disability Summit on December 14th!

Starkloff Disability Institute will be hosting a Workforce and Workplace Disability Summit for human resource professionals on December 14th at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis. The Summit will feature Keynote Speaker Megan Lawrence, Ph.D., Accessibility Technical Evangelist from the Microsoft Corporation, as well as break-out sessions on recruiting, accommodating, and welcoming employees with disabilities. Details will be coming soon!
