- March 2 - SomaDetect raised $6M of Series A funding led by Ag Capital Canada. The funds will be used by the company to bring its technology to more farmers in Canada and the U.S.
- March 2 - Therma (CoInspect) raised $10.2M of venture funding led by Deciens Capital. The funds will be used to scale its mission to combat climate change by eliminating food waste, energy inefficiency, and refrigerant emissions across the $1 trillion global refrigeration cold-chain.
- March 1 - Mazen closed the first tranche of their seed round totaling $2M. The round was led by Next Level Ventures.
- Feb. 26 - Outcast raised $7.9M of venture funding led by District Ventures Capital.
- Feb 24 - NovoNutrients raised $6.27M of venture funding from undisclosed investors.
- Feb. 17 - Bonumose raised $9M of Series B funding led by ASR Group and Hershey. The funds will be used to develop the first commercial-scale tagatose and allulose production plant and to advance the development of products in its R&D pipeline.
- Feb. 17 - RISE Brewing raised $11.3M of venture funding from undisclosed investors.
- Feb. 16 - Redefine Meat raised $29M of Series A funding led by Happiness Capital and Hanaco Venture Capital. The funds will be used to build a large-scale pilot factory and begin sales later this year, expand its meat portfolio and support its commercial launch and international growth in 2021.
- Feb. 1 - CellulaREvolution raised $1.36M of venture funding from investors including Northstar Ventures, CPT Capital and SETsquared Partnership.
- Feb. 1 - Future Meat raised $26.75M of Series B funding from investors including Tyson Ventures, Rich Products and Müller Gruppe. The funds will be used to scale up the company's production and accelerate research and development.
