Dean Newsletter FeatureJune Highlights with Dean Prabhudev Konana

“We just celebrated commencement with two in-person ceremonies, and it was wonderful to be together to congratulate the newest members of the Terp alumni community – 857 undergraduate students, 190 business master’s students, 147 MBA students, 15 PhD students, and 41 EMBA students.

Amit Mehta, MBA ’86, shared thoughtful, insightful and often very funny advice for the graduates. As Portfolio Manager and Managing Member of Crestwood Capital Partners, a global long-short hedge fund headquartered in New York, Amit shared that navigating the 2009 financial crisis was extremely difficult – but a little bit of skill and a lot of luck paved the way for success." Read the Dean's letter.

Jessica Ennis Alumni SpotlightJessica Ennis, EMBA '20 - Standing Up for Climate Change and Leading With Purpose

Jessica Ennis, EMBA ’20, set out to forge a career rooted in purpose. Now, that purpose has taken her all the way to the White House.

Ennis, recently appointed as the public engagement director in the White House Council on Environmental Quality, is leading the way, through her work dedicated to addressing climate change.

She spent the last 14 years of her career at Earthjustice, a national non-profit public interest law organization, serving most recently as its legislative director for climate and energy. In this role, Ennis played a crucial role in pushing for curbing methane emissions and helping establish a community solar program in Maryland. Read Jessica's full story.
