Empowering High Schools to Achieve Greater Equity
 Teachers Become Learners at the 2017 Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI)
July 10-13, 2017
More than 400 educators from Colorado and beyond will participate in four days of focused learning at the 2017 APSI. This convening will deliver effective instructional strategies to reach diverse student populations from a variety of backgrounds, many of whom may not be as academically prepared as the traditional AP student.

Colorado Schools in the Spotlight at 2017 Colorado Healthy Schools Summit
 On Friday, March 3, 450 people representing 50 school districts joined together at the 2017 Colorado Healthy Schools Summit: Putting the Pieces Together, to examine and complete the puzzle of school health by learning and sharing comprehensive approaches to healthy school environments.
CEI and The Colorado Health Foundation awarded a total of $43,800 to the 2017 Healthy School Champions.
