PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

I am so excited to move into the role of President for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. It is my hope that this year will be one of “Refreshing Growth” as we build upon our post pandemic successes.

Your Board and Committee Chairs have some great programs and events planned that will continue to cultivate our chapter and increase our community support. You can look forward to new speakers and a variety of venues. We will build upon great outreach events like the Chili Cook-off/Bingo for Bones and even add a new event with a work week at the campuses for Boys and Girls Club. We will bring back successful events like “Coffee and Credentials” to continue offering members opportunities for further career growth.

With this year’s theme of “growth,” I want to challenge each and every one of you to look within and use the network and resources that the chapter provides to inspire your own personal and professional growth.

I hope that you will join us for the upcoming meeting on July 12th as we swear in your new board and then again on August 9th at Croasdaile Country Club for a great presentation on managing data.

I look forward to keeping this close-knit chapter both supportive and fun for 2023-2024.

IFMA SURVEY: IDENTIFYING FM’S ROLE IN BUILDING DECARBONIZATION

Join the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and the Technical University of Darmstadt (TUD), Germany, in their new research initiative!

IFMA and TUD want to discover how building decarbonization is transforming the facilities management (FM) industry and how facility managers' roles are changing to meet new requirements. By participating in the survey, you will receive a free copy of the final report before general distribution. Take the Survey

The survey is in-depth, taking approximately 20 minutes to complete, but you can save your progress and complete it in multiple sessions. Contact Jeffrey Saunders if you have any questions. Don't miss out on this opportunity to contribute to the industry's progress.
