Did you know?

CPPs, PSPs and PCIs can normally earn one (1) point towards recertification by attending monthly chapter meetings where educational sessions and briefings are included?

You can also earn recertification points by volunteering to fill key chapter roles and by serving on committees.

Chairman's Corner

Greetings!

We recently concluded our annual 2017 ASIS NCC PSP Exam Review, and once again enjoyed a great turnout.
On behalf of the NCC Chapter I wish to personally thank
all those who instructed and/or assisted in this essential review process. I also extend our best wishes to those
who will soon be sitting for the world recognized PSP Certification Exam.

It definitely takes much work "behind the scenes" to put together the various programs we offer, and we are fortunate as a Chapter to have willing and able
volunteers. As we are a Chapter in constant service, there is always a need for additional volunteers to help with events.

If you can give of your time and talents to assist with an NCC event, please contact Scott Fischer CPP, our volunteer coordinator, who would be happy to find an
open event you could assist with.

Please mark your calendars for Wednesday morning, October 11th for the ASIS NCC Tenth Annual Golf Tournament. This popular NCC event will be held at the Twin Lakes Golf Course, 6201 Union Mill Rd. in Clifton, VA.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the ASIS National Capital Chapter Security Education Fund and the ASIS International Foundation. Contact Jim Saulnier or Tony Buscemi for more details.

Watch your emails on or about 9/14 for your Tournament invitation!

The Air Force Security Forces Association (AFSFA), in association with ASIS International Region 5A-National Capital Chapter, recently co-sponsored a half day security seminar in Arlington, Virginia. The success of this first
