On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), researchers from the Monica Wooden Center for Supply Chain Management & Sustainability are conducting a study that aims to identify optimal locations for logistics activity centers (LACs) in Florida. Part of the project is a survey of industry experts in Florida that will be used to determine the relative importance of various factors (e.g., land characteristics, workforce availability, etc.) in deciding the best places to develop LACs. The factors were developed from an extensive review of similar studies.
The survey takes 5-10 minutes to complete and all responses are confidential. The survey will close on December 11, 2020.

Exhibit at the First-Ever Virtual Florida International Trade Expo
We are just months away from the first-ever Florida International Trade Expo, a virtual showcase of leading Florida export products and services. Florida is the first U.S. state to organize such a virtual trade event and we want your company to participate in an event designed to generate business opportunities for you.
There are several advantages to exhibiting at the Florida International Trade Expo:
- The Expo will utilize the latest technologies to showcase Florida companies before an international audience, particularly from Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa.
- We are targeting 5,000+ attendees through our overseas offices network, industry associations in 14 countries, American Chambers of Commerce, and the Internationally United Commercial Agents and Brokers association which boast more than 20,000 buying agents throughout Europe alone. We are working diligently to connect you to global buyers!
- Eligible Florida companies can qualify to receive a trade grant that will cover 100% of the $1,060 exhibition cost on a reimbursable basis, making participating in this virtual experience practically free.
