Happy February, HRMA! So far this year is off to an excellent start. Thank you to all of our volunteers who served at the January Committee Fair! Our committee volunteers work exceptionally hard to keep HRMA moving forward with our monthly meetings, events, and all the behind-the-scenes work such as making our monthly membership renewal phone calls. I hope any of you looking for volunteer opportunities found time to visit with the committees. Click here to read more.

February 15th Annual Legal Update
Always one of the most popular programs of the year, the HRMA Annual Legal Update will begin with Grant Doty with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) giving the keynote presentation. Afterwards, members will have the opportunity to break into roundtables headed by a local employment law attorney. Members will rotate tables three times, after spending 30-minutes at each table, giving members the opportunity to hear a total of three different topics of their choice.

HRMA Spring Mentoring Program
HRMA is launching the Spring Mentoring class. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24th. Over the last several years, our proteges have had a lot of success working with their mentors, gaining valuable career advice and guidance, as well as an expanded network with a seasoned HR professional. The program is intended to help HR professionals who have been in the field for at least six months and are looking for a 12-month partnership to focus on their career growth. Click here for more information and to apply to be either a mentor or a protege.

Call for Volunteers for HRMA YP - University Relations Event
