Team Griffith makes CFA Research Institute Challenge finals! 

Congratulations to the Griffith Business School team who have been announced as finalists in the 2019 CFA Institute Research Challenge. The team consisting of Tanner Noakes, Alexander Bryne, Hamish Morton, Celena Music and Sanuri De Silva Wimalatunga will attend the finals on Tuesday 1 October in Sydney. 

The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. The competition sees students tested on their analytical, valuation, report writing, and presentation skills. They gain real-world experience as they assume the role of a research analyst.

Well done Tanner, Alex, Hamish, Celena and Sanuri, and thank you to Dr John Fan for your excellent mentorship. We wish the team all the best as they prepare for the finals. We will report back on Team Griffiths finals presentation later this year.

Students compete at Nudgeathon 2019APCS-Forum-Group-shot

Nudgethon is a behavioural change competition, in which students develop solutions to real-life social issues. In 2019
Griffith was represented by Liam Smith, Brittany Riordan, James Burl and Alex Campbell.


The team joined students from other Australian and New Zealand Universities, as well as government organisations and the private sector.
 
PASS Leader crowned Outstanding New Leader2019-PASS-and-Peer-Learning-Award

Congratulations to Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) Leader Narasimhan Ravi who has been awarded 'Outstanding New Leader' in the Australasian PASS Leader Achievement Awards.

Narasimha is currently completing his Bachelor of Exercise Science/Bachelor of Business double degree.
